Valley of the Sunflowers. Once a vacant 2-acre lot in downtown Phoenix it is now a field of sunflowers. The flowers will be harvested by community members and high school science students who will press the seeds for oil and create biodiesel fuel for their hybrid solar/biofuel vehicle project.
